SPOKANE--People who knew Sharlotte McGill are trying to prevent another tragedy from happening along the Spokane River Trail.
A few men take daily walks there to warn and protect those who walk there.
Wes Taylor and Michael Zachman say they worry about people hiding in the bushes so the arm themselves while walking. They say it’s been an exhausting week since McGill was murdered, but they aren’t going to quit until the suspect is caught.
A light is out along the trail. Taylor says he’s complained about it to the city, but it still hasn’t been fixed.
