PULLMAN, Wash. – The Pullman Fire Department and crews from Avista Utilities responded to an underground natural gas line leak on the campus of Washington State University Friday morning.
The leak was reported around 7:15 a.m. near Cleveland and Heald halls after the underground line was apparently struck by a construction crew working in the area. The area was cordoned off by WSU Police until repairs were completed later Friday morning.

Normal operations resumed on campus and the area was re-opened around 9:30 a.m.
WSU Police said there were no injuries.
