ROSALIA-- The family of a 23-year-old found dead in Bonnie Lake is still struggling to accept his death.

24-year-old Frank Lazcano and 20-year-old Daniel Lazcano face second degree murder charges. Investigators think the Lazcano's shot Marcus Schur and dumped his body. The pair were scheduled to appear in court Monday.

Schur’s mother Grace did not want to be in court Monday to see the two men accused of killing her son. She says they all knew each other in school and can't understand what happened between them.

Marcus Schur last visited his mom on Christmas day. Since then she hadn't heard from him until learning about his death last week. "He was a good kid and nobody in their right mind deserves this."

The idea that two men who knew her son would take his life is one she still can't grasp.  "It just hurts me that people can do this in life and to have it hit so close to home."

Grace is balancing the loss of her son with how to properly remember him. She's still trying to find the money to make sure she can lay him to rest.

The support she's gotten from the town of Rosalia is helping her to get by each day. “There’s not enough love in my heart because it will explode but it's there for each and everyone."

She hopes to find closure in the days ahead and for others to learn from the loss of her son. "Maybe from a tragedy we can make an example for the children in their 20s, be better people."
