Moscow man killed in suspected drunk driving crash

MOSCOW, Idaho -- Police suspect drunk driving in a crash that killed one person and injured another in Moscow Thursday night.

Idaho State Police said a car was heading north on the 700 block of E. Public Ave. around 7 p.m. when the driver failed to negotiate a curve.  The vehicle left the roadway and overturned.

According to authorities, Christopher Papineau, 30, was ejected from the vehicle and killed.  The driver, Trent P. Brown, 38, was injured.

ISP said neither of the men was wearing a seatbelt.  Investigators suspect alcohol was a factor in the crash.  The investigation is ongoing.
