STEVEN COUNTY, Wash. -- A vulnerable adult woman who disappeared Friday morning was found over the weekend.
The Stevens County Sheriff's Office along with Border Patrol were searching for Dolores V. Kelley, 74, who was described as insulin dependent and taking heart medication. Kelley was also said to be in the early stages of Alzheimer's disease.
Officials said Kelley went missing 2:30 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. Friday from her Northport home.
Over the weekend, a person just south of Northport reportedly noticed a tent up on private property and went over to investigate. That person then discovered Kelley inside the tent, according to Sheriff's deputies.
Authorities said Kelley was wet and disoriented, but otherwise safe and sound. She was taken to Colville for treatment.
