Missing Coeur d'Alene man found safe

COEUR d’ALENE, Idaho -- Police said a missing 76-year-old man from N. Idaho was found safe Thursday morning in Kent, Washington.

Authorities said Ronald Eldon Bartlett called his wife collect from a pay phone and was then assisted by a restaurant employee and a gas station clerk. They contacted Kent Police Department and officers made arrangements to return Bartlett to his family in Coeur d’Alene.

According to police, Carol Bartlett reported she woke up and discovered her husband Ronald missing from their residence Wednesday. He had also not showed up to a doctor’s appointment scheduled for later that day in Spokane.
