SPIRIT LAKE, Idaho-- Police arrested two people for drug related charges at New Hampshire Street home on Wednesday. Barbara Raley and Michael Gourley were arrested for possession of methamphetamine with the intent to deliver and also for possession of paraphernalia.
Officers in Spirit Lake worked with the Idaho State Police during their investigation. Authorities found methamphetamine during their search of the house. There were also several drug paraphernalia items discovered as well.
Authorities said the raid was part of an effort to address a larger problem of illegal drugs.
“The Spirit Lake Police Department is actively pursuing leads and conducting investigations to not only eliminate illicit drug problems in our community, but to also keep those drugs out of reach of our kids,” said Spirit Lake Police Chief Gene Marquez.
