Mega loads continue slow journey to Montana

LEWISTON, Idaho -- A ConocoPhillips shipment will continue traveling on Highway 12 Wednesday (Feb.9) at 10 p.m. toward the Montana border.  According to the Idaho Department of Transportation, it will travel eastbound for about 30 miles and stop at 5:30 a.m.

The load will travel approximately another 30 miles.  It is tentaively scheduled to travel into Montana Thursday night/Friday morning.

The oversized load and three others scheduled to follow are limited to travel between 10 p.m. and 5:30 a.m.  Each load will travel from Lewiston to the Idaho/Montana border, as weather permits.

Transports will stop at designated pullouts along the 174 mile route to allow vehicles to safely pass.  ConocoPhillips established a toll-free information line, updated daily at noon, for reports on each shipment.  The number is (866) 535-0138.
