SPOKANE, Wash.--Mayor David Condon touted safety improvements made in Downtown Spokane on Friday during the Association of Washington Cities meeting. Condon went to the meeting in Seattle to represent Spokane.
Condon called improving safety in Downtown one of his top priorities over the past year and a half. He also said there has been a drop in crime in the Downtown neighborhood.
“ There is work left to be done, and I am excited that the City Council and community continues to step forward to help advance the important work underway,” added Condon in his statement.
