SPOKANE-- A Spokane man wanted for a summer shooting is in custody.

Michael Gardner is accused of shooting at several young women on Spokane’s lower South Hill back in July.
The arrest warrant was issued for Gardner on July 29th but he wasn’t taken into custody until this weekend.
Authorities say Gardner may have been in California for the last few months.
Police believe he and several other people ambushed several girls near the corner of Perry and 7th Avenue after the two groups got into a fight at a North Spokane bar.
One girl was knocked unconscious, another was stabbed, and a third was shot in the chest. All three survived.
The girls left voice mails for their friends as they were taken to the hospital.
One tells a friend how her sister was “cut up.”
Gardner faces two counts of attempted murder and one count of assault.
His bail is set at half-a-million dollars.

Just hang him and be done with it. I don't want to pay a dime for him and his mistakes.
