MOSES LAKE, Wash. -- Authorities say they arrested a man Sunday for a variety of domestic violence-related charges.
Officials say Christopher Helgeson, 31, was arrested after a domestic violence investigation that started Saturday.
Moses Lake and Grant County deputies interviewed the victim of the violence who showed obvious signs of injuries allegedly caused by Helgeson. Investigators found that Helgeson was also a convicted felon and may have firearms.
Sheriff's deputies, Moses Lake officers, and a tactical response team served a warrant for Helgeson's arrest on the 2500 block of Elgin Road Northeast. Investigators searched the home and found ammunition and ammo magazines for guns.
Helgeson was booked into the Grant County Jail on charges of second degree assault, first degree unlawful possession of a firearm, harassment threats to kill and fourth degree assault.
