SPOKANE, Wash. -- Spokane Co. sheriff’s deputies are searching for the suspect in an armed robbery.
It happened around 1:30 a.m. Thursday at the Zip Trip on West Hastings Road.
The man walked into the store, showed employees a gun in his waistband and demanded cigarettes and money.
He then took off on foot.
Authorities followed the man’s footprints in the snow, but they think he may have gotten into a car and driven away.
The suspect is described as a white man in his twenties, about 6-feet-tall with facial hair.
He was wearing blue jeans, a red sweatshirt and a dark beanie.
