NEAR PECK, Idaho--A Juliaetta man was arrested for DUI Saturday night after crashing his car into a tree.
Just after 7:30 p.m., 50-year-old Carlos J. Harris was traveling northbound on Big Canyon Road. Near the junction of US Highway 12; he failed to stop at the intersection and lost control of his vehicle. The vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree.
Harris wasn’t wearing a seatbelt. He was transported to Clearwater Valley Hospital.
Harris is being charged with felony DUI. The investigation is ongoing.
