LEWISTON, Idaho (AP) -- A fishing boat collided with a bridge on the Snake River in Lewiston and sank, claiming the life of a 77-year-old northern Idaho man.

The Nez Perce County Sheriff's Office says divers recovered the body of Harold F. Miller, of Lewiston, after the accident Wednesday morning.

The Lewiston Tribune reports Miller was operating the boat, which collided with the bridge pier at about 5:30 a.m. and sank about 30 feet.

Another occupant of the boat, 42-year-old Len H. Young of Kellogg, was taken to St. Joseph Regional Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
