SPOKANE, Wash. -- Detectives with the Spokane Police Department cleared a man of any involvement in a possible child luring attempt.

Detectives investigated the case after a caller reported a man might have been following a six-year-old child on Monday.  It happened around 4 p.m. near N. Lidgerwood and E. Dalke.

The caller indicated the male was driving an older, baby blue suburban.  The caller reported the child ran away from the vehicle and was safely reunited with a guardian.  The man reportedly drove away from the scene.

Detectives contacted the individual driving the baby blue suburban.  Upon further investigation, detectives found there was no evidence to support the luring attempt and cleared him of any involvement.
