LEWISTON, ID -- The man accused of killing a boy in a boat accident on the Snake River near Lewiston is requesting a different judge.

Lawyers for Gordon Higheagle Jr. filed the request in Asotin County saying the trial would be prejudiced. It's the second time they've requested the change. No decision has been made yet.

Higheagle is facing homicide by watercraft charges in the death of 15-year-old Jonas Yochum.

Police say Higheagle smelled of alcohol after that crash, but toxicology reports are not finished.
