MOSES LAKE, Wash.-- Grant County authorities blocked off a wide area around a home early Monday after a man barricaded himself inside.

Authorities said the man locked himself inside the home on the 8800 block of Lybbert Drive following a domestic violence incident.  They said the man had a history of violence so they created a 300 foot perimeter around the house.  They quickly notified and evacuated neighbors.

Around 8 a.m., authorities said the man had peacefully been taken into custody.  However, they called in the bomb sqaud to sweep the home to search for possible homemade explosives.

No injuries have been reported.
