SPOKANE VALLEY, WA-- Friday morning unknown persons entered a residence and assaulted the homeowner who was sleeping.
At about 7:50 am, two male suspects forced their way into a residence located at 8600 E Broadway in Spokane Valley and confronted the sleeping homeowner with a knife. The two suspects assaulted the resident and stole a handgun, prescription meds and gold coins.
Responding Spokane Valley Police units were not able to determine which direction the suspects left nor is it known whether the suspects were on foot or had access to a vehicle.
One suspect is described as a white male, 20 years old, 5’ 11”, thin build, wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt and armed with a knife. The other suspect is described as a white male, 35-40 years old, 5’11”, medium build, wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt. Both suspects were wearing gloves.
The homeowner was hit on the head and suffered a broken finger. Detectives responded to the scene to begin an investigation.
