KELLOGG, Idaho -- A Shoshone County man was arrested Monday after refusing to leave a gun range at closing time.
Police took Michael D. Krahn, 52, of Kellogg into custody just after 8:00 p.m. at the Shoshone County Public Shooting Range in Government Gulch.
When police arrived on scene a PA system was used to try to talk with Krahn because of safety concerns. Police say while attempting to communicate with him, Krahn fired three shots in direction of the officers. They did not return fire.
Krahn was arrested shortly after without further incident and was charged with three counts of aggravated assault with a firearm and possession of a firearm while intoxicated.
The investigation is ongoing.
