ADAMS COUNTY, Wash. -- Authorities said a man was recovering Friday after accidentally shooting himself in the stomach.
The shooting happened around 2:30 a.m. Friday morning east of Ritzville, according to the Sheriff’s Office. Deputies said the 52-year-old man went outside to retrieve items from a vehicle when he fell, and the .357 magnum revolver fired into his stomach.
The Sheriff’s Office said the bullet missed all of the man’s vital organs. He was expected to survive.
