SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. – A portion of Pines Road and its eastbound connections to Interstate 90 will be closed beginning Thursday night.
Both of Interstate 90’s eastbound on and off-ramps at Pines will be shut down to all traffic for a paving project beginning Thursday at 7 p.m. and lasting through 7 a.m. Friday.
The Washington Department of Transportation planned the closure during evening and overnight hours since it considers this a “high impact” closure.
Pines Road, also known as State Route 27, will be closed across the freeway from Mission Ave. to Indiana Ave. The westbound on and off-ramps, however, will remain open since drivers access them from Indiana Ave.
The Evergreen exit is the recommended alternate route for drivers.
