SPOKANE, Wash. -- Luck hit five times in two months for one Spokane resident. The lottery player claimed more than $50,000 in prize money according to a Washington’s Lottery employee.
Lottery officials said the winner played Match 4 each time. The player bought all five tickets at the Rosauer’s Supermarket at 1808 West Third Avenue.
The player claimed the following prizes on these dates:
• $10,002 on January 17, 2013
• $10,000 on January 29, 2013
• $10,002 on February 11, 2013
• $10,000 on February 19, 2013
• $10,000 on February 26, 2013
Rosauer’s Supermarket on West Third Avenue has a history of luck according to lottery workers. The store holds the 4th place rank for Luckiest Retailers in Eastern Washington with seven wins of $1,000 or more in 2012. The store ranks third luckiest since Washington’s Lottery’s inception and has sold 102 winning tickets worth $1,000 or more since 1982.
