KOOSKIA, Idaho -- Officials in Idaho County have released the name of northern Idaho man who was hit by a falling tree and killed while he worked at a logging operation north of Kooskia.
Sheriff Doug Giddings said the victim of the Monday morning accident was 51-year-old Vernie R. Sinclair of Weippe.
Officials say Sinclair was working with a logging crew on the Blue North Forest Products site in the Smith Creek area.
