SPOKANE, Wash. – As more and more shoppers shift to buying handmade items, even football fans are looking local for their game day gear.

Milestones Hand-Stamped Jewelry has seen success right along with the Seattle Seahawks this season.

“The better the Seahawks have done, the more we’ve been selling Seahawks jewelry,” Milestones Hand-Stamped Jewelry owner Lisa Swinder said.

In fact, she said, since Seattle won the NFC Championship two weeks ago, sales have been 56 percent Seahawks-related, whether it’s key chains, necklaces or bracelets.

Another local crafter who started selling hand-knitted Seahawks items just this month on Etsy said she can hardly keep up with orders.  She is making between 2-3 blue and green headbands daily.  Click here to visit her Facebook page.
