LEWISTON, Idaho (AP) -- A 77-year-old Lewiston man who was struck by a van while crossing U.S. Highway 12/95 has died at a Seattle hospital.
Lewiston police report David Earl Anderson was crossing the street after buying coffee at a convenience store Sunday afternoon when he was struck by a westbound minivan.
Police say Anderson was taken to St. Joseph Regional Medical Center and later flown to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, where he died at about 7 p.m.
