LIBERTY LAKE—Troopers came up empty handed late Tuesday after a pursuit in Liberty Lake.
Washington State Patrol dispatchers said a trooper tried to stop a driver around 11:40 P.M. without headlights on near Campbell and Euclid. They said that is when the driver took off.
Troopers said the driver eventually slowed down, jumped out of their car, and ran away.
Sheriff’s deputies were called in to help with the search but even a K9 unit could not locate the suspect.
