COEUR D'ALENE -- Local drinkers will have to move their good times indoors earlier this summer in Coeur d'Alene.
Tuesday night, City Council members voted unanimously in favor of further limiting outdoor alcohol sales for restaurants. Starting immediately, restaurants and bars will not be able to serve alcohol to people seated on patios after 10 p.m. The law previously stated all outdoor alcohol sales stopped at 11 p.m.
Council members cited increased safety concerns around Downtown Coeur d'Alene as the reason.
