A winter weather advisory goes into effect for the Spokane/Coeur d'Alene area after 4:00 p.m. as 1 to 2 inches of new snow is expected by midnight. A winter weather advisory also goes into effect after 4:00 p.m. for most of North and North-Central Idaho, Northeastern Washington, and the Okanogan Highlands. A winter weather advisory goes into effect after 10:00 a.m. for the Columbia Basin. And a winter storm warning has been issued after 10:00 a.m. for the Okanogan Valley, Wenatchee Valley, and Waterville Plateau for the possibility of 3 to 5 inches of new snow.
