COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho.--An Ironman competitor, who was unable to complete the race in June, set-out to finish what she started Sunday in Coeur d’Alene.

Hailey Jackson, 18, began the triathalon in Coeur d’Alene, but lost consciousness and crashed her bicycle before she could finish the race.

The crash left Jackson scraped-up and bruised, but not defeated.

Jackson decided to pick-up 80 miles into the bike route, on Mica Hill, where she left-off.  She jumped back on her bike at noon on Sunday in the same outfit that she wore the week prior, determined to finish the race.
