COEUR D'ALENE -- Some drivers in Idaho had trouble trying to renew their licenses or vehicle tabs at any Division of Motor Vehicles office Thursday morning.

The Kootenai County license examiner confirms a statewide computer problem put  the drivers license office at a standstill for much of the morning.

At 10:15 a.m. the Kootenai County Sheriff's Office told us the system was beginning to work again in the local DMV offices, However there was still a backlog causing delays.
