LIBERTY LAKE, Wash.— More than 100 households participated in a community-wide yard sale Saturday in Liberty Lake.

Participants paid a $10 registration fee to sell their gently-used belongings. The registration fee proceeds went toward scholarship funds and youth programs according to event organizers.

Thousands of people from across the region shopped for bargains at the 21st annual event.

“I save my money once a year to do this because it’s such a huge variety,” said Evanlene Melting Tallow. “You have so many to go to you have all kinds of things to look at.”

Habitat for Humanity collected donations from participants who had left-over items.
