Homicide charges filed in boy falling off truck investigation

SPOKANE -- The Spokane County Prosecutor's Office has filed vehicular homicide charges against Lester LaFleur in the death of his four-year-old son. Gerrin LaFleur died in August when he fell off a pick-up truck near Mt. Spokane.
The family reported the truck was not moving at the time. But the medical examiner's report shows the child's wounds were not caused by a fall alone, and that the truck had to be moving.
LaFleur is scheduled to be arraigned on December 2.
