HAYDEN, Idaho -- A Hayden, Idaho man accused of slapping a toddler on an Atlanta-bound flight has been suspended from his job.
The parent company of Unitech Composites and Stuctures released a statement Friday regarding 60-year-old Joe Rickey Hundley.
“We understand that authorities are investigating the recent behavior of one of our business unit executives while on personal travel. The allegations are disturbing and are contradictory to our values. We are taking this matter seriously. In accordance with our company’s personal conduct policy, we have suspended the employee pending investigation.”

Hundley slapped the 2-year-old boy on a flight from Minneapolis on Feb. 8, according to court documents. The child’s mother says he slapped the boy and told her to shut that ‘N word’ baby up.
