SPOKANE-- Several labor unions, Democratic organizations and the Unitarian Universalist Church of Spokane organized a soup line protest in front of Representative Cathy McMorris-Rodgers' today.

A "soup line" protest references the soup lines of The Great Depression.

KREM 2's Katie Utehs found out the protesters were asking the representative to support things like job growth and Wall Street reform but they didn't present any concrete plans or solutions.

People with stories of loss and unemployment lined-up in front of Representative Cathy McMorris-Rodgers downtown Spokane office.
