SPOKANE—Gonzaga students are often known to camp out in the cold to score a pair of basketball tickets. Now, the university faculty is getting on board.
Faculty members camped out in the wee hours Tuesday in hopes of snagging a pair of tickets to the men’s basketball game on Thursday against BYU. Dozens lined up outside McCarthy Athletic Center to get tickets.
Some said they got in line as early as 4 a.m. with treats and a lawn chair in tow. They said good tickets are well worth getting up early.
Tickets were set to go on sale at 7 a.m. at the athletic center.
