PULLMAN, Wash. -- Former Washington State University President Glenn Terrell has died.

Terrell was WSU’s seventh president, serving from 1967 to 1985.

Known as the ‘student’s president,’ Terrell frequently walked to work, taking time to stop and visit with students, faculty, and staff along the way.  Today, the area in the center of campus where Terrell often strolled to work is known as the Glenn Terrell Friendship Mall.

Terrell was 93 years old.
