SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. -- Fire destroyed two semi trucks at a Spokane Valley business Saturday.
It started around 12:30 p.m. in the battery of one of the trucks in the National Feed Company parking lot in the 1900 block of Park Road.
The flames jumped from one truck to the other. Both semis are total losses. Each had a grain trailer attached to them, which were also significantly damaged. The fire department estimates the total loss could be as much as $350,000.
Burning fuel spilled on the ground during the fire. It drained into a dry well on the property. The Washington Department of Ecology has been notified.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
