PULLMAN, Wash. -- A stove fire destroyed one unit of a triplex building in Pullman Wednesday.
It happened shortly 5 p.m. on Ridge Line Drive.
Authorities say the resident forgot about a pan of oil on her stove while she took her son to class. The woman came home to find the building on fire.
Firefighters were abele to stop the flames from spreading to other units.
No one was hurt, but the unit was completely destroyed.
The Red Cross stepped in to help the family of three and their dog.
