SPOKANE -- Firefighters battled a house fire in North Spokane Wednesday night on North Altamont between Buckeye and Cleveland.
The home was empty when firefighters arrived. Neighbors said the people who did live at the home moved out a long time ago.
An initial investigation showed a power line in the back of the single-story house had fallen. Firefighters said it was touching the home when they got there. Power to the line was quickly shut off.
