SPOKANE -- Fire officials are investigating a house fire in North Spokane.

Emergency crews were called to the scene near Boone and Oak just after 9:00 p.m. Tuesday after neighbors reported seeing smoke coming out of a second story bedroom window.

Authorities said nobody lives in the house, but firefighters did find burned items in the bedroom.

Several boxed-up belongings were outside the home that caught fire.
