SPOKANE – A 30-year-old woman died at the Spokane County Jail early Monday morning.
Correction Deputies found the woman unresponsive inside her cell just after midnight while making safety rounds.
Deputies performed CPR until medics arrived on scene.
The inmate was transported to a Spokane hospital where she was pronounced dead.
She was alone in her cell and did not have a roommate.
Investigators do not feel the death is suspicious.
The Medical Examiner’s officer will release the woman’s name when they complete an autopsy.
