SPOKANE -- Investigators are still trying to determine what caused the fire that destroyed a North Spokane home Saturday.
The fire broke out just after 2:00 p.m. in the 5700 block of North Maple.
Two parents and five children lived there. The kids’ ages range from 10 to 17.
The family returned to the scene Sunday afternoon to salvage what they could, but there was not much left.
Relatives say a few things of value that did survive the fire were stolen while the family was away.
The Red Cross is helping the family with food, clothing, and a place to stay.
