SPOKANE -- A family escaped from a fire in their home Wednesday night. The people inside a home near Riverton and Mission smelled smoke around 11:00pm. They ran outside and called for help.
Firefighters found smoldering insulation in the attic. Investigators believe electrical problems were to blame.
No major injuries were reported. A firefighter went to the hospital after cutting himself with an ax.
