SPOKANE -- The graffiti word 'Megazord' is often found painted all around downtown Spokane.  In fact, it has been a problem for years.  Spokane police claim they finally caught the young man behind the spray painting damage.  Zack Holder claims he did not do it.  But his mother is not so sure.

Court documents outline why police think Holder is the man behind at two year graffiti spree.  Witnesses saw him do it this week.  His cell phone has a picture of 'Megazord' spray painted on a wall.  On Friday, Holder said he does not know what a 'Megazord' is.  But we asked him four minutes later in the interview and he said 'Megazord' is a robot.  'Megazord' is the name of a character from a live-action children's television show called 'Power Rangers'.

On Monday, a witness saw Holder writing 'Mega' on a wall near Riverside and Monroe.  Police say it has been happening for a while.

"I think the police say it's been going on for 3 to 4 years and that's a lie.  It's only 2 years that it's been around," said Holder.

When asked how he knows that, he said he knows the guy who did it.

Holder's mother says Zack likes to draw and is very good at it.  But she adds he needs to channel it somewhere else.  She says she is surprise and shocked that he is the suspected infamous Megazord spray painter.  But Holder denies he had a part in it.

Zack Holder was released Thursday, only to be re-arrested on a burglary charge.  Police say he broke a hand sanitizer at Riverfront Park, a place he has been banned from.  Holder also denies that charge.
