SPANGLE, Wash. -- Two hunters were hurt in a serious head-on crash south of Spangle.

Emergency crews responded to the wreck on Bradshaw Road near Spangle Waverly Road around 5:00 p.m. Tuesday.

Authorities said four people in two separate vehicles were out deer hunting together. Three of the hunters are brothers, and one is a family friend.

Spokane County Sheriff’s deputies said the two vehicles were probably going too fast for the dirt road. There is no posted speed limit there. Authorities said no one was wearing a seatbelt.

Deputies said two people went through the windshields. Those men sustained neck and back injuries. Authorities said their injuries are not life threatening.
