SPOKANE, Wash.--  A Washington State Representative was among those in the Spokane community doing their part in July to help with wildfire relief.

State Representative Kevin Parker of Spokane went to the fire region to help as a volunteer. His Dutch Bros. Coffee stands in Spokane also helped out with the KREM 2 News #Help2WA campaign by collecting donations for the Red Cross.

“A lot of people that came by were telling our staff that they have relatives or family and friends in the area,” Parker said. “Usually people come and get a coffee and give a couple bucks and this time we had people literally rolling up and droping off $50, $100 bills to help with fire victims. The community really came together.”
