SPOKANE, Wash. -- Police say a car hit a drunk man walking through Spokane streets Friday morning.
He was struck near Garland and Lincoln around 5:30 a.m.
A woman driving in the area told police the man was weaving in and out of traffic. She says she tried and failed to convince him to stop, so she eventually waited for a few minutes to see if he would be okay.
Another driver ended up colliding with the man.
Medics took him to the hospital for his injuries. Police say he was conscious.
The driver who struck the victim will not be cited.
