AIRWAY HEIGHTS, Wash.- One driver was cited following a wreck in snowy conditions in Airway Heights.
Washington State Patrol said it happened around 7:15 a.m. on U.S. Highway 2 and the Sunset Road exit.
Troopers said the driver of a truck slid across the median and hit a van. Medics rushed the driver of the van to the hospital with minor injuries. No word whether the driver of the truck suffered any injuries.
The wreck did block traffic for a brief period of time. Troopers cited the driver of the truck for driving too fast for the conditions.
