SPOKANE, Wash. -- A driver reportedly going too fast for the icy road conditions collided with another car.
It happened just before 6 a.m. near Highway 2 and Spotted Road.
The Washington State Patrol says one of the drivers involved slid on the ice and went head on into another vehicle.
Police are not yet sure who is at fault, but a citation will be issued once investigators determine who is responsible.
One person was taken to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. The other driver suffered minor injuries and was not transported.
WSDOT says this is an icy area, and drivers should be cautious.
