MOSCOW, Idaho-- Officers cited both the driver and a pedestrian involved in a collision Monday in Moscow.
Grace Drynan, 21, was walking in dark clothing when she was struck by 83-year-old driver Norman Hovey. Police said Hovey failed to see Drynan, even though she was crossing in a marked crosswalk. They cited him for inattentive driving.
However, police also cited Drynan for unsafe walking in a crosswalk. She was injured and taken to a local hospital for treatment.
